It's 2013 already?? The 1st week of school update.

Hi all!

And assalamua'laikum to all Muslim readers.

Man, the first week of school term was hectic with a capital H!

We had to rush around buying more school supplies as the week progressed as we figured out what it takes to send 2 kids to school. Well, technically, only Shahrin has to attend the public primary school since Nazrin is only 4 years old but Nazrin has been so excited about going to school (like his older brother), so we decided to send him to Shahrin's old private kindergarten/preschool.

We thought that we were well prepared for the start of the new year & new chapter in Shahrin's life. But, even with only 3 school days left since Monday & Tuesday were still holidays, I felt like I needed more than a 24 hours day. I spent Tuesday night sewing Shahrin's school badge on his uniform till 4am! My sewing skills leaves much to be desired, heh. Then, on the 1st day of school itself, I woke up 10 minutes before Shahrin's 1st day of school is supposed to start!!!!

Can you imagine how we scrambled around that morning? Plus, I forgot to iron his uniform the night before & had to make Shahrin wear his still-hot-freshly-ironed uniform. My poor son. Heh. Luckily, I had prepared his bag, shoes & lunchbox the night before, so, Ahmad later told me that the drop-off went well. A teacher was there to greet the newcomers, so the Standard 1 students were well looked after. Ahmad told me that the next 2 weeks will only be sort of an orientation period where the teachers will show these kids around the school, take them to the canteen & supervise them on how to purchase their meals, show them where the toilets are and etc.

I couldn't go with them that 1st day because I had to get Nazrin ready for his 1st day at kindergarten. He was WAY better at getting ready for school compared to when I only had to deal with Shahrin. He did cry a little for having to wake up earlier than his usual time but after I told him that he should get ready to go to Abang Long's school, he became quite excited. Too excited, in fact, that the moment we got to his kindergarten & he was safely inside, he didn't even look back at me or wave me goodbye. Bwahahahahaha...

Then, later that 1st day, Ahmad said we need to buy Shahrin more uniforms for his religious classes [KAFA or PAFA] (in the evening at another school) so we rushed out that evening to find white Baju Melayu and green songket. This part was rushed because we weren't aware that PAFA classes starts at the same time the public school starts & that registration was open since December the 24th, 2012. Luckily, Ahmad's friends who have kids already attending school told him about it. I'm not quite sure how this religious school works since Shahrin already has religious class during school hours but Ahmad said that it is sort of compulsory for kids to attend this school. So, Shahrin's schedule were packed on Thursday and Friday; 7.30am - 1.20pm at public school and 3.00pm - 6.00pm at the religious school.

So, this week was very challenging for us, what's with getting things ready for the boys; iron school uniforms that are way to big for them, even the S sized ones, that I had to sew up the arms and pants to fit them, wrapping Shahrin's textbooks, buy more school items for them..etc. etc. Ahmad was in charge of sending & picking Shahrin up from the public school as well as sending & picking him up from religious school. As for me, I only have to send Nazrin to kindy but Ahmad would pick him up & bring him home.

Ahmad is so into the whole 'going to school' thing which is so 180 degrees from how he acted when Shahrin only attended preschool/kindy. Back then, I was the only parent actively involved with Shahrin's school days; get him ready, send him to preschool, pick him up (although Ahmad did this more than I did but still..), prepare his uniform/bag/pencils/colour pencils..you know..school stuff. This year, he registered Shahrin for the public school and the religious school. He sent & picked Shahrin up from both schools and he asked Shahrin about his days. Plus, we initially bought each brother new school bags with Transformer pictures on them which the boys chose themselves. Then, after the 1st day was over, Ahmad told me that we needed to buy another bag for Shahrin, this time it has to have wheels because he said he couldn't stand seeing Shahrin dragging his 1st bag which was heavy with his textbooks & exercise books. This is quite the opposite to Shahrin only having 2 bags (one was a hands-me-down & the other was bought 2nd-hand) during his 3 years in kindy/preschool. Nazrin is the lucky one, he has a new bag, new pencil box (Shahrin never has one), new uniform. Hehe..

Apart from the hectic preparations, Ahmad is also busy making things. His welding business has taken over his time this past month and it looks like more orders are coming in, alhamdulillah. In fact, Shahrin's and Nazrin's new school items were bought using the money Ahmad received for making the parking-tent thing while I was waiting for my translation payment to come through. Which it has. As for me, I barely made it through the week trying to juggle between altering the boys' uniforms and proofreading for my loyal client but I managed to get my boys to school and finished my project, albeit 1 day later than the dateline, ahem.

p/s: I LOVE!!!!! school term. Love it! Love, love, love it! hahahhahah..The past 3 days were heavenly, the TV got its well deserved rest, no one screaming or crying or demanding drinks. The house stayed neat the entire morning. Can't wait for the new week to start. Hahahahahahahah. <---crazy :p=":p" laugh.="laugh." nbsp="nbsp" p="p">

Being a good neighbor.

Living in this house comes with its own brand of 'excess baggages'.

Firstly, there's the woodland creatures*. We have rats (although their population has significantly dropped due to..) cats, spiders, centipedes, millipedes, lizards, not to mention a whole collection of other insects. Well, what do you expect when you live close to a forest and palm tree plantations, right?

Then, there's also the primates which we call lutongs. They love to raid the small clusters of banana trees that grow around the area. Plus, they would sometimes rummage through the garbage pile (we don't get trash service here in the kampung areas, so we would mostly burn our trash. Except for Khairin's diapers, empty bottles, cans and other trash that should not be burnt. These would have to be thrown out at the BIG trash can  found in Bagan Serai and we usually take out these trash when we have business in town.

Finally, we have also inherited a few 'elderly' neighbors. Most of them are actually Ahmad's relatives plus a few close friends of Ahmad's foster mom.

This house is actually built on a piece of land owned by Ahmad's maternal uncle. His house sits closer to the main road while this house is a bit further down the plot. Thus, we are the closest family he and his wife has. Being senior citizens, I would say both of them should live with their children so that they can be looked after; he's blind and frail while she has arthritis and can't walk so well. Before her conditions got worse, she was the one who has to walk to the nearest shop and get all their daily essentials. Unfortunately, these few months have been hard on her since her feet started to hurt more. So, sometimes she'd come over and ask me to buy groceries for her.

Ahmad's uncle has had a few accidents in his house in just 2 months. He couldn't sleep well while lying down due to some complications with his lungs. So, he'd nod off quite a lot during the day, even while sitting on the bed. When this happens, he'd topple over and bash his head on the closest furniture. Last month, I drove him and his wife to the clinic to stitch up a HUGE gash on his forehead. Last Monday, a small piece of his upper right arm was torn open when he fell from the bed, again.

Point is, I think they should live with their children rather than stay here on their own. I mean, yeah, sure I don't mind going to the shop for her once in a while or help clean his wounds every other month. BUT. They are getting older, not younger and they need better care than what I can offer. But whenever anyone suggest that they call their children to come and get them, Ahmad's aunt would say that they wouldn't want to bother their children plus her husband doesn't want to live with any of them for long. Maybe because he's already memorized the layout of his house but being in a new surrounding would be difficult for him since he's blind.

I can only help with the little things but I believe that they deserve better than how they're living now. The other neighbors have their own problems too since most of them are senior citizens as well. So, everyone pitch in whenever they can like sending over a dish or two (except for me since, you know - I DON'T COOK hehhe) help pay the bills, etc. But I still think they need better care than what they have right now.

Making choices..

I love bloghopping, especially blogs that have life stories. Real, everyday stories.

I found this post about taking charge of your own happiness while bloghopping sometime ago.
It certainly helped me keep my calm today. *edited to add: 'today' was 26/7, I didn't initially wanted to write this but I finally decided to write it anyway as a reminder to myself.

I had spent the entire day taking care of my family; waking up early preparing our pre-dawn meal, staying awake so that I wouldn't be late taking Shahrin to pre-school, came back home and crashed for a bit before Nazrin woke up and demanded my attention, followed by Khairin etc. Then, at noon, I went to pick Shahrin up, came home and did the dishes, the laundry, swept the floor..you know..household chores.

WHILE HE SLEPT.

This in itself isn't unusual. Even during normal days (pre-Ramadhan), he would sleep till noon. After 7 years of being married to him, I have learnt to take this 'condition' of his with patience.

Things went along as usual in this house till around 5pm when I got the boys ready for a trip to the nearest playground at the housing area. Shahrin has been badgering me to take him to the playground since forever. His pre-school teacher would sometimes take the entire school (of about 10 kids, heheh..) for a fun time at the playground which is just 5 minutes walking distance from the school (well, honestly, it is a residential house turned into a school/daycare, but ever since the second teacher was re-assigned, students have dropped from around 20'ish to only half of that). So, he would occasionally ask us to take him there too.

On that day, after promising him that I would take him and Nazrin there since 2 days before, we got ready for a day at the playground. I woke Ahmad up just to tell him that we were heading out. He got a little bit upset. I'm not sure whether he was upset over being woken up or the fact that we're going out. He did grumbled something about we shouldn't go out but since the boys were already in the car, I just told him that we'll be back soon.

The boys got to play with their brand new ball that day while I kept Khairin entertained. It was fun watching my 2 boys running around chasing the ball. They had fun on the slides too which were their favorite. Then, around 6pm, we all got back in the car to head on to our Pasar Ramadhan to buy food for breaking fast. As I drove along the road, I decided not to stop there as planned. There were too many people around plus I couldn't find a parking space close enough to the pasar. I didn't want to have to try and contain 2 boisterous boys while surveying the foods available there. The boys may not listen to me and run around in the crowd and got lost or hit by motorcycles. Plus, I would've had to carry Khairin too, so shopping for iftar had to wait.

So, I drove on back and got the boys inside. Ahmad was up and watching TV so I told him that I'm heading out again to buy food for iftar. My plan was to leave the boys with him and take the motorcycle to get back to the pasar. Nazrin saw me getting the keys and he immediately ran out as well. He's very alert when it comes to me or Ahmad getting ready to go out. Ahmad would always take him along whenever he goes out on his motorcycle so, Nazrin wanting to tag along is nothing new. Then, Shahrin also wanted to join us. He normally would ignore such trips as he prefers to watch cartoons but on that day, he wanted to come along to buy some curry puffs.

The problem was that Ahmad's motorcycle is kind of high and me being a petite person, often struggle when I'm handling it. My feet don't touch the ground when I'm on it and having Nazrin & Shahrin along is not an option. So, I casually asked Ahmad to take them instead and buy food for iftar.

He stormed off into our bedroom, put on a shirt and his jeans and stormed out. Before I could tell him what to buy for iftar, he'd already started the ignition and rode off with the boys. I was miffed at that time but I still have to cook the rice, so I headed back inside and decided to forget about Ahmad's moodiness.

About 20 minutes later, they came back with Shahrin crying, Ahmad sulking and Nazrin normal. Shahrin told me that Ayah just took them for a ride around the housing area and he didn't stop to buy anything. Shahrin kept on crying that he was hungry and he wanted the curry puffs. By this time, my annoyance had turned into anger but as iftar was only an hour away, I just had to improvised or we wouldn't be breaking our fast that day. All the while, I was steaming inside. I was tired, my son was unhappy with his father while he did nothing to help me. Instead, he had added on to my problems. While I was preparing our simple dish for iftar (luckily I had some minced chicken in the freezer, so I cooked it in some chili paste) I couldn't stop myself from thinking about the D-word.

It surfaces during times like these. Whenever Ahmad pushes my patience beyond the limit, the D-word would pop up. I mean, I kept thinking to myself, "Why do I put my kids and myself through this shit day after day? He's not gonna change, so why not ask him for a D?" During normal days, which can last for months, the D-word is pushed to the deepest place in my head but on days like this, it surfaces.

Then, I remembered the post I linked earlier. I told myself to calm down and not let him MAKE ME UNHAPPY. He is clueless. He is selfish but he does not have the power over MY EMOTIONS. Thinking about that made me calm down a bit. I was able to keep my cool about the whole incident and we were able to break our fast in relative calmness and normalcy. Had I not decided to not let him make me unhappy, I would've sulked at him or yelled at him and gave him the silent treatment. This would usually lead to him treating me the same which would result in a communication breakdown where he would just ignore me. I have learnt through experience that it is never good for me to have him that way since I totally depend on him to buy things from the store or look after the boys while I do my work or for other things as well.

I made it through the rest of the day by not showing him how angry I was at him for not buying food for iftar and for not buying those damned curry puffs for Shahrin (I managed to make him stop crying by promising to buy him some on the following day). If I had chosen to let him make me unhappy, I would've spent the rest of the day crying or stewing in anger which is not good since the D-word would come up.

Well, luckily today (27/7) was a bit better that that day. He woke up earlier than usual and he helped wash the dishes and helped with the boys. So, all in all, by making the decision to not put my emotions in his hands albeit him not knowing about it, has saved the day for all of us.

*sigh*

Parenting issues.

As usual, after I've sent Shahrin to school, I would sit in front of my lappy and log in to my FACEBOOK and check my blog before I start on whatever project I'm supposed to be doing for that day. Today is no different.

FACEBOOK is quite for now but I am waiting for updates on my ex-schoolmate who is in CCU in Hospital Pulau Pinang. I pray for her speedy recovery, insya allah.

Then, on my bloglist, I saw that Cecily has a new entry, so I clicked on her entry. She wrote about sharing space with her mother and having privacy and parenting issues. Read about it here and read the comments too, they are just as informative. Then, when I went to check my e-mail, this article caught my eyes.

So, about the first issue; Shahrin has always told me that he can run fast. I guess that's his 'best' thing. He would always tell me to look while he ran around the house, going at 'super-speed' or something. plus, he's always asking me to check out his new dance moves. They always involve him jumping around with arms flailing everywhere and ending with him on the floor. Yeah, whatever rock your boat, kid. Heh. I would always respond positively without making him feel like he IS the fastest runner or best dancer.

What annoys me the most is when he couldn't accept losing. He always, ALWAYS wants to be the winner, even when playing with our neighbor's kids. I don't know about at school but his teacher once told me that he would sometimes instigate a fight whenever he feels like he's not getting the upper hand. This information was given to me after I asked his teacher whether it was true that a bigger boy (physically, not age wise) was pushing him around. I didn't blame the boy since I know how Shahrin is plus that boy is bigger than he is, so it might have seemed to him that the boy was pushing him around when in reality that boy was just playing.

No matter what I tell Shahrin, he would always want to win. He would throw tantrums when he doesn't get his way. This leads to the second issue. I grew up with corporal punishment, so, that's also how I 'try' to discipline my boys. Being spanked, hit with a rattan stick and even tied to a pole (I took something that I shouldn't have when I was 7) was no big deal. With the boys, I always use the I-am-going-to-count-to-three-and-you-better-stop-before-then approach first. If they do not settle down (it's always something; fighting over toys, over the remote, over drinks, you name it) or things get out of hand, then I dish out spanks. Time-out works too, sometimes.

I know that I am not a good parent though I try to be. Unfortunately, my efforts are not enough when Ahmad is not helping me with the discipline thing. His absence doesn't help either. As some of the commenters pointed out in that article, spanking for the sake of the bad behaviour should be enough but usually kids get spanked more than they deserve due to the parent's frustration or out of anger. This is true for me. When I get frustrated with the boys, I always spanked them more times than they deserve. This is especially true when I'm busy with my projects and they get into a fight, let's say over who gets to watch the next cartoon. When in that situation, I'd either ignore them at first and concentrate on my work or try to talk them into taking turns (which rarely works). When both efforts fail, then I turn into the angry bull. Watch out boys!! Here comes the bull!!

I am aware that this is not good parenting, neither is shouting at them to obey me but I feel overwhelmed sometimes. Especially when Ahmad is present and he chooses not to do anything about it. I think that this is due to how he was raised; never been spanked or pinched or punished. He was dotted on by everyone in his adopted family since he was the 'first' child. He only have to ask and they would give him everything. So, with the boys, his response to their bickering would only to tell them to stop and if they still keep at it, he does nothing. This is what always makes me even angrier. Because I feel I have to do everything in this house.

Update - I started writing this entry at 9am, it's now 12.18pm. Khairin and Nazrin demanded my time so I think I should just end this now.

Gotta break this cycle!!!

Feeling super duper sleepy!
Nothing new there. Been like this since 2 weeks ago.
Can't sleep at night, can't stay awake during the day.
*sigh*

Still have 2 more writing/editing projects to finish by end of this month.
Really have to focus more on my projects and less on this uncomfortable feeling that will not go away till Baby is out.

Heading of to bed now.
Ahmad's up, now it's his turn to watch the boys.
Ibu needs some shut eye.

Bye!!!

Mixed emotions.

First off, Shahrin's been kidnapped, AGAIN! Ughhh..how I hate knowing that he's there with Ahmad's mother, far away from me. HATE HATE HATE!!!!

I'm seething right now, can you tell?

Not just because she took Shahrin with her for a 2nights sleepover, it's also because she told me something that would have every mom clutching her heart with fear.

She had a little chitchat with our neighbor before she went back to her house in Taiping. That neighbor told her that Shahrin & Nazrin wandered around her house one day with no supervision (read: I wasn't there with them). Unluckily, her house is right beside the main road, so their unsupervised walk caused a bruhaha at her house. She shooed them home right away when she saw that they were playing alone.

When I heard this story, what came to mind was fear, anger and bafflement. Fear for my sons, of what could have happened to them should they wander onto the road. Anger at her for directing that tone of hers that I hate so much when she didn't even ask me for my side of the story. Bafflement plus anger at the story and Ahmad because as far as I am concern, I've never let them out of the house if Ahmad's not outside or if I couldn't go out with them or our neighbors are not around. Usually, the boys would play outside when our neighbor's grandkids are outside too or her sister-in-law's children are there as well. (The neighbor's house is in front, her SIL's at the back and the house we live in is beside theirs) So, how could it be that the boys had wandered so far to the front that nobody noticed??

I'm still seething. At myself, at Ahmad's mother, at Ahmad.

Did she really expect me to follow along with the boys wherever they go? Given my current condition?? It's always like this with her. She's quick to point fingers, to place blame. These are exactly why I hate her so much. Plus, she'd always put the blame on me coz she dare not anger Ahmad lest he bail out on her. While we're at it, where was Ahmad when this happened? He's always outside, chatting the day away with his pals. Why weren't he there when the boys wandered that far??

I know I'm partly to blame but damn it! I'm still angry at them both for different reasons.

And she had the galls to take Shahrin along to her house when she knows bloody well I don't like it when she does! UGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Errrrrr......

I don't know whether I should be glad/happy/ecstatic or concerned.

It's about Ahmad. He's behaving very peculiar lately. Some of the things he's been doing without my asking:

1- Wash the dishes.
2- Giving the boys bath, wash their poop.
3- Tidy up the house! (this is the most recent one)

and although I know what I know is kind of invading his privacy, he's been;

4- Deleting all the SMSes in his inbox and sent folders.

This last part is what's been bothering me the most. He's never done this before. We've always been open with each other and sometimes he'd read my SMSes and I'd read his. Lately, he deletes everything in his message folders, making me suspicious. Add this to the above items. Wouldn't you feel the same way?

Or maybe it's just my imagination running wild. Maybe it's just because of my pregnancy. I know I have let the house fall apart since getting pregnant. Maybe it's just his way of helping me out (though he'd never do any of these during my last 2 pregnancies) and showing me that he cares.

Malays do have several 'old wives tales' regarding guessing a baby's gender during a pregnancy. I bet everyone around the world have one but I'm kind of lazy to google them. Anyway, when comparing my previous experiences with this one, I can honestly say that it is very different. This time around, I suffered horrible morning sickness and extreme fatigue, which I didn't have with the boys. Everyone keep telling me this one is sure to be a girl because of these differences. So maybe Ahmad's change of attitude has something to do with it too, right? Heheh...wishful thinking on my part.

Anyway, I AM glad that Ahmad's been helping out a lot these days. Makes me love him a little bit more! <3

[iPad MySuperKids] Cabaran #1: Kelahiran @ Birth. Group C - Anis & Ahmad's LOVE Story-

Salam all...

Today is the last day for this contest and I still don't know what to write. *sigh*
I've visited some of the other contestants' entries and WOW! I am so blown away by them all.
As I am currently at the office and we're quite busy with 'office-duties', I can only come up with this entry.

The Birth of:
 - Anis and Ahmad's LOVE Story -

p/s: this entry is totally inspired by the Nora Elena TV series, aired on TV3, I know it's been long over but I have just only recently been hooked into watching it on Tonton.com heheh...

Nora Elena and her had-to-marry-him husband Seth Tan
As we have not finished watching this series, I can only recap the parts that I've watched.
Basically, the story could be based on coincidences (sounds familiar? heh) where Seth Tan did something horrible to Nora and he wanted to repent. She, on the other hand, was traumatized by the incident and had trouble trusting men but didn't know the culprit. Anyway, she did get engaged and was making wedding preparations when she bumped into Seth. Through horrible coincidences (again?!) and bad individuals making terrible accusations, her fiance broke off their engagement, causing Nora's mother to be hospitalized. Due to feeling guilty to Nora (whom he knew all along), Seth offered to marry her instead. She was forced by her mother to go through with the wedding and marry Seth. Which she did with a heavy heart since she still loved her fiance and this was followed by episodes where Seth Tan did everything he could to win her over.

So, having been inspired by this story (*soooo loving Seth Tan's lovey dovey approach!*)
I am going to tell how MY love story with my not-so-lovey-dovey-but-I-love-him-anyway Ahmad
was born!

Me & Ahmad officially as husband and wife.
We too had started off due to coincidences.
Back when I was in my final year undergrad study, he SMSed me asking to be friends.
When I asked him how he got my number, he said a friend gave it to him.
I didn't know that friend then but he is now a part of us.

As days go by, we got closer and finally met on 7th June 2002.
(How was I able to remember this date till now? Coz I wrote it in my special SMS diary heh)
I have a SMS diary? Haha..inspired by my roommate who wrote down every SMS she ever received from her boyfriend.

I am consciously aware that I am no where near as beautiful as Nora Elena, not even in the same zipcode.
On that historical day (to me at least <3) we only spent 2 hours together,
even then we didn't say anything much.
After Ahmad & I returned home from our date?/meeting? he SMSed me late that night.
During the long silence between the hours after our first meeting to the time he SMSed me,
I had already concluded that he had written me off after seeing how 'plump' I was (err..am).
I awkwardly replied his SMSes while trying to maintain my dignity as I have already decided that he was just being nice to me, for still contacting me even after seeing my size.

He finally caught on my nonchalant replies and asked me why.

Me: "Ingat kut diam dari td sbb dah tak nak kawan dgn adik sbb adik ni gemuk"
Ahmad: "Laa..manada..abg tidoq la td, letih drive lori"
Me: "Oh..ok"
Ahmad: "Awat? Abg tak pandang saiz la..abg kawan dgn adik sbb adik baik hehe"

There are more cute SMSes such as this one.

The best one yet came 4 month later where he wrote this:
1 4 3
sent to me at 4.53am almost 9 years ago.

Me, being so innocent and naive in the game of love
(believe it or not, Ahmad was my first boyfriend & I pray he will be my only husband till the day I die)
didn't know what the numbers meant. I asked him about it but he told me to find out on my own.
From my roommate, while we were getting ready to attend lectures that morning, I found out that it meant

I LOVE YOU

Imagine me smiling all day long that day. Haha.

You may not know it from just meeting him since he is so quite
but his SMSes were (were is the operative word here since he no longer write me SMS like these huhuhu)
so loving and tender that I am glad I wrote down ALL! the SMSes he ever sent me.

He may not be as romantic as Seth Tan.
But he is loving enough for me.

There you go ladies & gentlemen, my long narrative for this contest entry.
Hopefully my jury is the lovey-dovey type and like my entry, hehe.

Ahmad The Silent One

I think one of the reason I fell in love with him is because he is such a patient man.

For the whole 2 years our relationship was opposed by my parents, he never gave up on us. Though I honestly don't know what he sees in me, I am thankful to GOD for pushing him into my life. Even after I repeatedly told him, I HAVE to break up with him (we broke up 3 times!), by my mother's decree, he just kept calling and SMSing and tried to keep our relationship strong.

I know, our journey as a couple was never a bed of roses, neither has our journey as husband and wife been any more romantic or movie-like (you know, hardship in the beginning but happily ever after in the end). *I* still have issues with him, mainly financial ones, but today, my love for him has been given a high dose of fertilizer (for the want of a better word, heh).

He has always been a quite man, we never talked much, even while dating, I guess I never needed him to. Just having him by my side is enough, most of the time. To me, his aura is strong but silent, fitting for such a gentle father. I like to think of him like Ethan Quinn in Inner Harbor by Nora Roberts.

At 4.20am today, I drove him to where he parked his trailer because he has to be on his way to Ipoh to deliver some building materials. The battery was dead and he tried to fix it on his own but an hour later, he still couldn't start his trailer. As I watched him trying to fix the trailer, I had to admire his patience, never once did he swore or curse or bang the stupid battery out of frustration (I know I would heh). He went about tweeking this and that in an orderly fashion, giving up only after I suggested that he call a mechanic to help him. I know I've dissed him plenty in my rants but today, I know I have fallen for my Ahmad, all over again.
